Grind and seal.
A fast, affordable upgrade for a bare, dusting or lightly worn slab. Diamond ground clean and flat, then sealed so it stops dusting and cleans easily. The most cost effective floor we do.

The most cost effective floor there is.
A grind and seal takes the slab you have, grinds it flat and clean, and locks it down with a penetrating sealer or a thin clear coat. It stops dusting, it cleans with a mop, and it costs a fraction of a full polish or coating.
It is the right answer for warehouses, storage, back of house, mechanical rooms, basements and shops that need a clean, sealed floor without a showroom finish. The slab keeps its natural look, and the sealer keeps oil and water on the surface where they can be cleaned up.
It also makes a good first step. A grind and seal floor can be polished or coated later, because the hard part of the prep is already done.

How it goes in.
The order matters. Every step exists because skipping it shows up later.
- GrindThe slab is opened and flattened with a diamond grinder. Laitance, light coatings and rough spots come off.
- RepairCracks and spalls get filled so the sealer goes on a sound surface.
- CleanHEPA vacuumed, so the floor is dust free before anything goes down.
- SealA penetrating sealer or a clear coat, one or two applications depending on the use.

The other systems.

Polished concrete
Grind, hone, densify and polish. A dusting, pitted slab becomes a hard, sealed, reflective floor that cleans with a mop and holds up for years.

Industrial coatings
Epoxy, polyurea, polyaspartic, urethane and MMA. Chemical resistance, impact resistance and fast return to service, with line striping and safety texture.

Metallic and decorative
Metallic epoxy, stains and dyes for lobbies, showrooms, restaurants and retail. Industrial durability underneath, a finish people notice on top.

Repair and prep
Coating removal, crack and joint repair, hydraulic and polymer cement, and full slab profiling. The prep is the job.

Concrete rehab
Cracked, pitted, spalled or uneven concrete brought back to a sound, flat, usable slab. Repair first, then whatever finish you want on top.

Safety floors and striping
Slip resistant floor systems and durable safety striping for aisles, dock zones, pedestrian lanes, wash bays and hazard areas.

Driveway wash and seal
Driveways, walks, patios and pool decks pressure washed, repaired where needed, and sealed so water, oil and salt stay on the surface.
Every review, five stars.
Will use Proformance floors again and recommend them to anyone needing a flooring treatment. Mr. Simon was very quick to get a quote to me, and without the mark up that a few other installers quoted me. The quality and price are unmatched.
They were able to get right out and complete the job, days after requesting a quote. This allowed us to have the job done before moving into the new house. We highly recommend their services!
Definitely recommend Mr. Craig, he did an amazing job with our garage making it look incredible! In addition, he was very responsive, puntual and communicative. He took the time to educate me on the aftercare and maintenance.
